The Deputy Labour Minister noted that «We are also foreseeing a 300 million euros increase to the overall benefit fund to cover the minimum guaranteed income that concerns 270,000 households, the housing benefit that concerns 260.000 families, the birth benefit and the child allowance as well as the allowance for people with disabilities».

The Greek current account deficit shrank by 725 million euros in the January-July period compared with the same period in 2018, totaling 2.7 billion euros, the Bank of Greece said on Friday.
