Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) on Thursday announced it was extending a deadline for the expression of interest to buy a 30 pct stake in the Athens International Airport to October 29, from September 30.
The Greek government on Wednesday decided to immediately proceed with a process to invite expression of interest for the airport, a process that began in June 28, 2019. The extension is offered in order to have time to resolve a problem with the composition of the new board of the airport after the sale of a 30 pct. The Greek state will have two positions in the new board, of which one will be the chairman of the board.
