The Greek Prime Minister underlined the effort to build the foundations of Greece as a prosperous and democratic society and saif that the goal is to build interpersonal ties that connect the two countries.

The agenda of the meeting will be strictly observed, as meetings within the framework of the UN Summit do not allow the same latitude as bilateral visits.

On his regular Sunday review of the preceding week on social media, prime minister stressed out the national effort for a strong Greece, capable of standing up to the heightened demands regarding security and stability in the Aegean.

Marinakis said that the prime minister is expected to focus on the major global geopolitical and technological challenges, ahead of Greece taking up a seat as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2025-2026.

Mitsotakis has called on Brussels to urgently tackle a "prolonged crisis" of capacity that has driven prices to such extreme levels that it requires an urgent "political response."

During the meeting, which was attended by the Prime Minister, the progress made for the restoration of the area and the timetable for the completion of interventions that are currently being implemented were discussed.

The Prime Minister stressed that there is an ongoing battle to contain prices, adding that both competition and state controls are working in this direction.

The Prime Minister also referred to the Flyover road and stressed that the goal is to be delivered in the spring of 2027, before the parliamentary elections.

A total of 950 new, modern, fully accessible buses by the summer of 2025 will strenghten urban transport in Attica, according to Ministry of Transport's timeline.

"We want the country to maintain its growth rate and even better, to achieve fiscal stability", Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister Thanassis Kontogeorgis said.
