Intrum sees a long-term investment in Greece, CEO says

Intrum aims for a long-term investment in Greece, Mikael Ericson the company's CEO said on Friday. Speaking to reporters in Athens, Ericson expressed his satisfaction over the quality of the human resources and of the management team of Intrum in Greece and noted that the aim of Intrum Hellas was the offer long-term and sustainable repayment solutions to Piraeus Bank's debtors, while it also aspires to take over the management of third-party portfolios in the future.

Mitsotakis: 'Greece is acquiring a clear and functional system of migration asylum'

"Greece is finally acquiring a clear, concise and functional system of asylum," said Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during the parliamentary plenum on the Citizen Protection Ministry's draft law on migration asylum, which includes, among other relevant clauses, the acceleration of asylum application and approval procedures. Privatization program takes off on strong interest for Athens airport

Greece's sale of a 30 percent stake in the Athens International Airport drew stronger than expected investor interest, in what could earn the country more than 1.5 billion euros in revenues, while also giving a major push to its stalled privatizations program. Expected dividends of 1.1 billion euros connected to the 30 percent stake between 2026 to 2046 drew ten bids from some of the world's largest investors in infrastructure and airport management companies.
