Throught this reform,the Health Ministry attracts new doctors to sectors that are critical for the National Health System. There is a serious shortage of doctors in General/Family Medicine and Internal Medicine.

Among other things the implemented measures include increased police presence and targeted policing at the points of the road network where there are frequent traffic accidents. The measures will remain in force until 8 January 2025.

The prime minister pointed out that planning for 2025 will be completed at the next Cabinet meeting on January 10 and expressed his satisfaction with the conduct of the Budget debate and the overall presence of the government.

The Director of Research at TENEO highlights in Business Daily that 2025 will be a year of significant uncertainties. He comments on the measures for banks, the Greek economy, the upgrade of the Athens Stock Exchange, the Greek-Turkish rapprochement, and the state of the EU.

He stressed that the government, step by step, was building a more connected and better Greece, while ensuring road safety.

He added that Greece was evaluating all the events and the dynamic developments in the region and "adapting its stance on migration and refugee issues according to the new circumstances that arise, in the framework of the decisions of European Union bodies."

He stressed that the cooperation the government has developed with the regions and municipalities of the country is excellent.

The chairman of the Interministerial Committee for Strategic Investments is Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos.

Referring to the "Christmas Basket" and "Household Basket" measures, Prime Minister noted that this will also include products such as lamb, goat and turkey meat, traditional New Year pies, tsoureki buns and chocolates.

Development Minister referred to the sixfold increase in the maximum fines for those who violate the legislation and stressed that all fines are paid normally, without exceptions.
