The "green" electricity tariffs for December range from 15.5 cents per kilowatt-hour to over 20 cents, according to the Regulatory Authority's website where the new prices were posted on Monday.
The tariffs are higher than in November due to the rise in prices on the Energy Exchange. Within the next few days, the government is expected to announce price subsidies, which will affect not only residential and business tariffs, while the Regulatory Authority announced that the "green" tariff will continue to be offered by suppliers in 2025.
In detail:
Prices for December start at 15.499 cents per kilowatt-hour for the first 500 kilowatt-hours per month (this is the "green" tariff of the Public Power Corporation, which has offered a 68% discount on the basic price), while the night tariff is set at 14.514 cents.
