Applications for the new energy saving programme, with a budget of 434 million euros, can be submitted as of Wednesday, January 8.
The programme provides for primary energy saving of over 30% through the energy upgrade, in at least three energy categories, of each residence that will be supported within the framework of the programme. It is clarified that the programme concerns buildings used as a main residence (detached houses and individual apartments).
The main objective of the programme - among others - is to support energy-vulnerable and affected population groups.
The eligible costs of the programme include the following:
- Replacement of window frames,
- Installation/upgrade of thermal insulation,
- Upgrading of the heating/cooling system,
- Hot water system using Renewable Energy Sources (RES),
- Other energy saving interventions, such as the installation of a smart management system (smarthome) and energy storage systems (batteries).
