Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis is departing for India on Monday on a business mission, accompanied by the Secretary General of International Economic Relations and President of Enterprise Greece, Myra Myrogianni.
The aim of Economic Diplomacy is the opening of Greek entrepreneurship to a huge and rapidly developing global market, as well as the general strengthening of the bilateral economic relations between Greece and India. The visit follows the successful visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Athens, last August, accompanied by powerful Indian business people, who had expressed a strong interest in enhancing their business ties with Greece.
The mission in India includes three stops: New Delhi (20-21 February), Mumbai (22 February) and Bangalore (23 February), where business forums and B2B meetings are planned between the approximately 70 Greek companies participating in the mission and businesses in India.
