Finance Minister Christos Staikouras is heading to Washington to attend the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank. On the sidelines of the meeting, the minister will meet with new IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, the next European Central Bank (ECB) President Christine Lagarde and the U.S. Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment, Keith Krach.

From Tuesday through the weekend, 500,000 emails will be sent to owners who have been remiss in six regions of Greece. Authorities warned there will be no more extensions to the filing, which is part of a longtime effort by several governments to update the official land registry.
