Optima SA is interested in buying Delta Dairy when creditor banks decide to sell it, Stephanos Panteliadis, CEO of the company told reporters on Thursday.
Panteliadis Group has significantly strengthened its position in the dairy product market during the last few years while it is implementing a 22-million-euro investment program for the period 2019-2020. Sales surpassed 180 million euros in 2018 and were currently up at least 2.0 pct in the first seven months of 2019.
Optima's share in the domestic dairy product market rose by 0.7 pct in value to 14.5 pct and by 0.8 pct in volume to 13.4 pct in 2018 and continues to rise this year, to 15 pct and 14 pct, respectively.
