The coronavirus pandemic may have delayed their arrival, but in the near future, Ready Nutrition energy drinks signed by Giannis Antetokoumpos are coming to Greece, with The Love Company Hellas looking to expand its footprint in Greece.
The release of the product will take place before the end of the year, while in 2022 the Disney movie about the rise of the Greek Freak from Sepolia to the top of the NBA, which he conquered a few months ago, is expected to be shown in cinemas. Initially, about 200,000 pieces of them will be distributed in Greece and then a marketing campaign will follow starring the NBA champion.
The Love Company Hellas has undertaken the exclusive distribution of the product in Greece and Europe of Ready Nutrition products that features Giannis Antitokoumbo, who, following in the footsteps of LeBron James and other superstars NBA, is also a shareholder. The pandemic’s delays
"We want some more time because the project is very big and must be done properly. The pandemic was a problem and affected developments," Stavros Baknis, founder of The Love Company Hellas, tells Business Daily.

Ready Nutrition energy drinks do not contain any sugar in line with the goals of the Greek company for a healthier diet. Ready Protein Water is water with proteins and natural fruit juice, with zero sugar and zero calories. There are two types of bars. Six bars with different flavors called Ready Clean Bars and two bars which are Ready High Protein bars.
According to Baknis, the Giannis Antetokounbo product range will make a dynamic entry in the market as there are already agreements with supermarket chains and the products will be found in every retail outlet, will be accompanied by a full TV campaign, while the Greek Freak may also participate in the promotion activity.
Within the framework of the agreement signed by Giannis Antetokunbo when he joined Ready Nutrition as an investor, the creation of social programs in Milwaukee would involve the company distributing free products to public schools. Similar programs are expected to exist in Greece, as Baknis had previously mentioned in the Business Daily.
Along with the big name that is Giannis Antitokoumbo, The Love Company Hellas has another weapon from Milwaukee which, despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, helped to increase its size. The company that recorded an increase in 2020, sees growth in 2021 "due to the great success of Calypso which is a unique product for the Greek market", as Baknis underlines. He states that King Juice Company is one of the leading companies in the USA, and the Calypso series with 14 flavors is one of the products that is showing remarkable growth in Europe.
The Love Company started in Greece and has set up offices in Switzerland where they have undertaken the distribution of products in Europe.
