Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' visit to China, heading a business mission, aims to strengthen the bilateral relations and to bring more investments to the country and in parallel to promote the Greek extroversion, Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Constantinos Fragoyiannis said on Sunday in an interview with private Open TV.
He said he will accompany the prime minister to the annual exhibition of import products in Shanghai noting that it is one of the largest exhibitions in the world. Greece will be the honoured country in the exhibition in which will participate 65 Greek enterprises from many different sectors as tourism and shipping. Enterprise Greece has organised over 200 B2B meetings between Greek and Chinese entrepreneurs as well as meetings with state agencies.
Fragoyiannis also said that the prime minister will meet with the President of China Xi Jinping in Shanghai before his official visit to Greece on November 10 and 11.
He also underlined the importance of the investment to the growth of the Greek economy and expressed his certainty that in the next 2-3 months there will be very important investments in Greece.
