Greek management consultants are more optimistic over the course of the Greek economy in the next 12 months, Hellenic Association of Management Consultants (SESMA) said in its barometer for the third quarter of 2019.
The report, released on Tuesday, said that the GRe+1 general index rose to 54.2 pct from 41.3 pct in the previous quarter and compared with a 14.7 pct reading recorded in the third quarter of 2018. This very positive development reflected greater optimism over macroeconomic data and production expectations.
SESMA, however, in its report referred to the major hurdles in business activity such as high taxation, lack of tax system stability, inefficient public administration, difficulties in financing of enterprises and inconsistency in the operation of the state.
