Hatzidakis: We continue the fight to further limit tax evasion

The message of Economy and Finance Minister was entitled "In 2025, we are implementing our five key commitments" and made the following points.

Economy and Finance Minister Kostis Hatzidakis highlighted the main planning of his ministry for 2025 in a post on Tik Tok on Tuesday. The message was entitled "In 2025, we are implementing our five key commitments" and made the following points:

"For the year to go well, wishes alone are not enough. We must, so to speak, put a series of our commitments into action! Fiscally, in our treasury, we will save many millions of euros for taxpayers, because thanks to our prudent management, we can and now borrow much cheaper.

We continue the fight to further limit tax evasion with digital tools, as the Digital Customer List, Digital Waybill, Electronic Invoices, extension of myDATA.

We are turning our attention even more to competitiveness, extroversion, growth and that's why we decided to reduce social insurance contributions by a further percentage point. It is the year when a great battle will be fought for the utilisation of important resources through the NSRF and especially the Recovery Fund. Meanwhile, a new law on the Capital Market will be passed, to give more impetus to the Greek Stock Exchange.

We are accelerating the utilisation of the real estate owned by the State. [Through] concessions of the small regional airports, using the same model as for the larger ones, which have been granted as concessions and are an example of success.

In 2025, we will have a further strengthening of our social policy. The minimum wage will rise even more. Pensions will rise further, while in health we will have a significant increase in available resources: a 75% increase compared to 2019 and, thanks to the Recovery Fund, dozens of  hospitals and health centres will be renovated throughout Greece."
