The platform gov.gr, the Single Digital Portal of Public Administration, will enter its fifth year of operation, Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou said.
"We welcome 2025 with 2,025 digital services of the Greek State on gov.gr! The number coincided with the year, but what gov.gr has achieved is to establish among citizens the belief that the state can pioneer, show that it respects them and that it is moving steadily in the direction of reforms, both large and small, which significantly improve everyday life. This, after all, is what Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is asking for in his second four-year term, at the end of which we aspire to have digitized all the services provided by the state. Of course, the pace of digitization concerns us, and you can see that we are digitizing 1 to 1.5 services every day.
The most important thing, however, is that citizens appreciate and recognize the enormous change in the quality of life that digital services bring. In a recent survey, gov.gr was second in Greece out of all the companies and organizations included in it and is first in relation to all the State services in terms of satisfaction with the citizens' experience. This fills us with joy but also with responsibility, to continue with even higher quality digital services," Papastergiou told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA).
It is noteworthy that 8,597,642 different citizens have used gov.gr, issuing at least one document or submitting an electronic declaration, while 321,030,281 documents or declarations have been issued/submitted electronically.
